Monday: 90 min elliptical
Wednesday: 60 min elliptical + D5K and an extra mile (4)
Thursday: 60 min elliptical
Saturday: 60 min elliptical + 8
Sunday: 60 min elliptical + 3
I was happy I was able to do a couple of sub 8 minute miles during the D5K. I haven't run this race for the last several weeks and, given I've only been running about 13 miles/week, it shows all the elliptical work is a pretty good substitute for road running. Which is good, because the joints allow me unlimited time on the elliptical.
